Nathan Brown

Physiotherapist

Bachelor of Physiotherapy

Member Australia Physiotherapy Association (MAPA)

Nathan recently returned to Australia after spending three years in the United Kingdom, where he worked within the BUPA healthcare system and continued to play high-level cricket. He rejoined the Praxis team bringing valuable international experience and a broad clinical skillset in musculoskeletal, sports and paediatrics physiotherapy.

Nathan graduated from the Australian Catholic University in 2019 and has developed strong experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions, sports-related injuries, and NDIS paediatric presentations. In addition to his work at Praxis, Nathan also provides external physiotherapy services within the NDIS paediatric setting, giving him extensive exposure to working with children, families, and complex developmental needs.

He has worked with the Aspley Hornets AFL club for over five years, supporting athletes across NEAFL, QFA, QAFL, Colts, and Masters programs. This experience has shaped his practical, performance-focused approach to injury management, rehabilitation, and safe return to sport.

Nathan is highly confident delivering gym-based rehabilitation and Pilates-informed exercise programs, using strength training and movement-based approaches to achieve long-term outcomes rather than short-term pain relief. His treatment philosophy—“fix it and keep it fixed”—aligns closely with Praxis’ Prevent, Prepare, Perform approach. Nathan believes rehabilitation is only complete when patients understand their injury and have the tools to prevent recurrence.

Nathan enjoys working collaboratively with patients of all ages and backgrounds and strongly values individualised care. There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach in his clinic room—each plan is tailored to the person, their goals, and their lifestyle.

Outside of physiotherapy, Nathan thrives on staying active through cricket, running, and golf. When he slows down, it’s usually in the kitchen, where the only cookie-cutter approach you’ll find, is in his baking.

If pain, injury, or movement limitations are holding you back, Nathan will work with you to develop a clear, practical plan to help you move with confidence again.
